Seung Hyun L.

Hi, my name is Seung Hyun and I am a college student from George Mason University. I have been playing since I was seven years old. I enjoy playing in my own concerts but still passionate in teaching others to share the same passion I experience when I play violin. My teaching style can best be described as organized and friendly. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I am able to share what I like to people who are willing to learn and practice in their own time. In my lessons, you can expect to learn how to practice effectively and productively. I like to tell my students that nothing can help you better than practicing hard outside of lesson. My favorite thing about teaching is seeing my students grow and enjoy violin playing. My favorite performance was my senior solo recital in high school with my orchestra. My students love that I can also be their friend even outside of lesson time and I easy to keep in contact. I primarily teach violin, but I can also teach viola for the beginners.
