Students can expect a hands on learning environment that will involve recording in a home studio, mixing down a vocal, and preparing a roll out and marketing plan for the release of songs or projects. I will also aid students on how to record, engineer, mix and master a song by yourself when you have the means. Everything lesson and approach is a learning process and It takes patients, but I can assure that students can look forward to beat making, recording, mixing, and creating every lesson getting students comfortable with hearing themselves.

What to expect in my Vocal Lessons

I am a strong hip hop vocal instructor. Teaching students different ways to not only capture there voice but also tones and delivery. Feeling what your saying is a huge part of my lessons. Being In tune with the music. Letting the music control you but realizing your in full power of it. Confidence is Another key part in my lessons, knowing that you have the capacity and capability to go above beyond in order to find your sound while training yourself in order to get the results you want. I will also go over stage presence with performing how to take up space and engage the audience.

Formal Education:

I have been doing music professionally since my senior year in high school. By the end of that school year, I had been involved in poetry slams, open mics, performers in front of my entire school, and a great deal of serious writing session. Following graduation, I was hand-picked and enrolled in a 3-week artist intern program for development Called The HIP HOP Artist Residency. It varied from vocals to production and engineering. This program was made by Macklemore and Ryan Lewis for upcoming Seattle artist. I have been by the side of Ricardo Fraser, “Sir Mix a lot’s” manager, talk with Macklemore's tour manager Ben Secord to his day to day manager really gaining as much knowledge as an artist that I could but also to teach and learned a lot about the music industry from the business aspect as well.

Private Education:

Choir Church

Performing Experience:

Performances vary for me through the years And the experienc. When I first performed it was in my poetry class my senior year in highschool. I later performed in front of the school that year. Following graduation I was blessed to perform at MOPOP as a part of my program. I have also performed in Vegas on the strip and in small clubs to begin my career. Really gaining confidence in myself and comfort. As I progressed in my career I was able to book a show at studio 7 around september of 2016. I have performed at amazon head quarters in down town Seattle. My favorite performance yet would have to be a show I did at chop Suey. Hosted my Macklemore and Ryan Lewis. It was sold out. Pretty awesome. Most recently this summer after the release of s project I was able to be apart of the 2017 Vans Warped Tour. I traveled to almost every state in 3 months and performed in many of them. I have performed at a sold out show at the paramount alongside Macklemore, Travis Thompson, Sir-mix-a-lot, and more. I have Also been involved in local intimate sofar sound shows around seattle.
