Haley Grace has studied viola and piano since the age of three. Throughout her childhood, she has had principal positions in youth orchestras and in several string ensembles. She received her first music performance scholarship Honors Ensemble Scholarship in 2014 upon entering college and has continued to perform in various concerts and recitals for the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. She also has served as principal violist in the Colorado College Chamber Orchestra and continues to perform and record locally as well as teach and coach orchestral students. Haley Grace also currently serves as a sectional violist with the Chamber Orchestra of the Springs. I primarily teach younger students from the age of 4-15. My focus is on classical music performance and theory. I believe that if classical music is learned and understood that young musicians can branch off more easily into their preferred musical environment such as jazz, blues, concert band...etc.

What to expect in my Keyboard and Piano Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced
Students can expect to be focus on classical repertoire with an emphasis on musicality as well as technique. As students learn famous classical and contemporary classical pieces they will be taught the theory behind the music as well. My current students enjoy their lesson time, but also are diligent in practicing at home and progress rather quickly with dedication.
What to expect in my Orchestral Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced
Learning both viola or violin can be difficult at first as the technique used in playing these instruments requires skill. However, with good instruction, motivation, and dedication beginning and intermediate students can expect to play with beautiful tone and musicality. More advanced students will focus on refining their techniques as well as musical expression through proper phrasing and other musical techniques.
