Hello my fellow musicians and music lovers! My name is Jose but you can call me Alex. I began my music learning journey at the age of 11. It all started with a Spanish Nylon Guitar. I was hanging out with a friend listening to some tunes when he busted out his guitar and the rest is history. I've learned many styles and genres on the guitar since then along with many techniques including Song Writing as one of them. My hunger for music only grew from there on. My soul, heart and mind craved nothing but music and more knowledge. So, I decided to begin my Studio Recording lessons. Now after 18 years as a Live Performer, Guitarist, Song Writer, and Music Studio Producer, I've developed a unique style in Teaching Music as well as How to play Guitar and Record live guitar playing along with other musical components. My belief is that every student learns at their own pace in their own way. Guitar playing should be fun above all and always leave you wanting more. Each student has a preference in music, using this knowledge I make learning Guitar playing and learning music fun, adventurous and like I said," always wanting more". This approach allows students to rapidly pick up the instrument with ease and motivation. Also the fact that I have my own Music Studio inspires students to really get serious about their music. Knowing that Recording their first song is an affordable option, provides not only a Guitar playing experience but also brings each student that much closer to becoming the Music Artist they envision to be. Music is my life and sharing this experience with each and every student is a blessing as well as task I take to heart. I will make sure to start your Musical Journey in a way that will always feel new and fun. Look forward to understanding in depth what Song writing is all about. Styles and Genres I teach: Classical Guitar, Rock & Metal of all types, Hip-Hop of all types, Pop of all Types, Basic to Advanced Guitar Playing, Song Writing and Lyrics/Poetry, Studio Recording, Producer Mastering and Editing. I teach Left handed Students as well.
