Dan began playing guitar at the age of 14. Over the years, he developed his skills further by studying guitar and music at College of DuPage and is currently continuing his studies at Elmhurst College. He gained performance experience through playing in recitals, restaurant gigs, and pub/bar venues. Dan's primary genres of expertise are classical, rock, and funk. His musical personal favorites are Ana Vidovic classical, Roland Dyens classical, John Frusciante Funk/Rock, and Matt Bellamy Rock which had great influence on his style of playing. Dan loves music because of its power to inspire and connect people and loves teaching music because of the opportunity to share the ability to create music. What to expect in my Guitar Lessons
Students can expect to study guitar technique, general music theory, and improvisational skills that will be personally organized in a way that will help the student reach their specific individual goals. Lessons will also explore how to learn songs quickly and easily and how to add one's personal interpretation to their song performance.
