Hi, my name is Tim and I am a violinist/music therapy student from Houston. I have been a student of music for 12 years. My musical styles include classical music, traditional Mediterranean music Greek, Turkish, Bulgarian, Jazz, Latin jazz, and R&B/pop music. My teaching style can best be described as student-centered because I believe in the goals that students have for themselves. My favorite thing about teaching is the diversity. I love that every student has a unique connection with music, and I respect that each person needs to be catered to in a different way. As a teacher I try to do my best to accommodate the needs and preferences of my students. In my lessons, you can expect to learn violin technique and to build a repertoire of your preferred music. What to expect in my Orchestral Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate
I have experience with classical music, jazz, Latin jazz, musical theater, traditional Mediterranean music, and pop/R&B music, but I am open to other styles that my students may be interested in. The intent of my lessons is to build violin technique and to build a repertoire of music that the students like and want to play.
