What to expect in my Record Engineer Produce

Beginner -

Students can expect a creative way to learn engineering. Learning about music software and how it works is almost like trying to learn a new languauge and becasue of this I use a lot of synonyms to compare engineering features. In my opinion this helps immensly, having the students look at the software like a canvas and its tools like brushes and dials like colors.

What to expect in my Drum Lessons

Beginner - Intermediate

Students can expect a fun and upbeat lesson. I like to include a lot of style to my drumming, I believe getting into that real groove comes with creating a sort of drummer persona for yourself and living it out on those pocket grooves. You have to have fun when learning the basics of drums and I know that is something I can provide.

What to expect in my Song Writing Lessons

Beginner - Intermediate

Students can expect a real introspection when working with me. I want to know what they are striving to create and hear what they have already created to mix and create something unique. Basic structure will be focused on, only to try and push the students out side of the box that "basic song structure" is. I am heavly focsed on tone and notation and these things will be focused on after we have constructed, carefully fine tunning the creation.

What to expect in my Guitar Lessons

Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced

Students can expect to have a fun and very creative learning process. Once we figure out how to play a melody or rythmic progression I'll want them to focus on the tone of the riff and if they play electric guitar that is the time we can learn about the whole world of tones and effects along with the actual playing. I beleive guitar tone is something skipped past by many teachers. Once we dial in a tone they like then I'd go further and deconstruct the riff, making it their own and creating something new from what we learned.

What to expect in my Bass Guitar Lessons

Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced

Students can expect a very laid back yet focused lesson. The most important part to bass guitar playing for me is feeling. So along with teaching melody and groove I will teach how to use rhythm and dynamic to truly feel what is being played.
