I am currently a Associates of Arts (Music) student at Pierce College but I am planning on transferring to Pacific Leathern University this up coming fall 2018. I have played trombone since the 6th grade so, just a little under 10 years. I also play Euphonium which I learn to play in 2011 so, just a little over 6 years experience. As a current music education major I can offer your student a better understanding on theory skills so they can become better musician and as well have a bigger understanding on why the music they are playing is important and how it fits in with the rest of the ensemble. Besides been a music major. I was in the US Active Army for 4 year and just recently honorably dis-charge from the service. I was stationed here at Joint Base Lewis McChord. I am married and have a dog called Ollie. Both my husband and my self are natives from the great state of Pennsylvania. He is also in the active Army as well. I also have a sister who is currently an elementary school music teacher in Pennsylvania.
Jerdil C. has over 8 years of music experience in the Spanaway area.

What to expect in my Orchestral Lessons
Student should be prepared to learn and be welling to learn. For beginners I like to use Standards of Excellence book 1 but any book that the student has will work. For people who are intermediate to advance players there are several books that I like to use the very from standards of excellence book 2, Arban's Complete Conservatory Method for Trombone, and Bordogni-Mulcahy Complete Solfeggi complete vocalists for trombone. These are just some recommendations and are not requirements. I will also help students with any music that they may be performing from solos to ensemble pieces. Students should make sure the have a good working instrument and should take care of the instrument to ensure that students have good sound. Be side just working on the Trombone student will learn how to improve their ear training abilities and receive more information in music theory to not only understand theory but to be able to use what they learn in theory and be able to apply it to our lessons.
