I am primarily an oboist currently attending the University of Cincinnati's College-Conservatory of Music. I also take piano lessons for an hour a week and have been playing piano for 8 years and oboe for 10 years! I have been teaching students since my senior year in highschool. I am currently a Junior undergraduate student.

What to expect in my Orchestral Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate
Students can expect to learn how to play the oboe with the greatest fluency by being taught how to properly form an embouchure, use the wind, and make their own reeds which is required to play the oboe. This will all be done by exposure to study books, daily exercises, and repertoire.
What to expect in my Keyboard and Piano Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced
Students can expect to learn how to play the standard pianoforte with great confidence and control by correctly and quickly learning how to hold the hand over the keys and how to relax the muscles of the hand while remaining agile, and maintain a big core sound. This will be done primarily by learning repertoire, as there is much repertoire that covers the techniques required of a pianist.
