My name is Brandon, I'm twenty years old, and have been playing guitar for 8 years. In High School, I had a hard time understanding music theory and it took a while to grasp, but eventually became clear with the help of my mentors. Helping others who struggle understanding musical concepts and guitar, in general, is what I want to achieve.

Beginner - Intermediate
All students should expect a significant improvement in their playing in a months time with me. Students should also expect to be pushed out of their musical comfort zones from time to time in order to grow as a better musician.
Formal Education:
I played upright bass in orchestra for 6 years, which has ultimately been a huge influence on the guitar, giving me a good understanding of both melody and harmony as well as a different perspective of where instrumentation belongs in a song.
Private Education:
I had my own instructer, Ian Barry, who taught me my foundation such as triads, extended chords, guitar leads, original compositions and various genres of music. It was a huge impact on my overall learning experience, making me better than I already was.
Performing Experience:
I play guitar in a progressive rock band called Coy in the houston area, and have played at Warehouse Live, The Pub Founftains, and Last concert cafe to name a few. I also play bass in a punk rock band called Starflightrocks, who have played all over Texas such as Houston, Brazoria, Austin and San Antonio.
Experience Teaching:
I have only been teaching for 1 year now but have taught a pleathorea of students, ranging from complete beginners to more advanced students. I have taught over video call and subsitute teach at Groove Music School, which overall taught me how to be patient and figure out how different people learn.
