My name is Devon. I have played guitar for over 5 years. I graduated from Murray State University with a BS in Music Business while obtaining a Master’s Degree. My core focus in teaching guitar is to teach technique and a basic understanding of how the guitar works so that students will not only be able to learn from me but will be able to take that knowledge and apply it themselves wherever their journey takes them!!

What to expect in my Guitar Lessons
Beginner -
My core focus in lessons is applying technique and understanding of the guitar. You will learn daily warm up exercises that will develop crucial hand techniques to playing the guitar effectively. strengthening fingers, strumming patters, etc. The second part of lessons will focus on the basic knowledge of guitar that is important to know for every guitarist. This will include Scales, Chords, Basic Music Theory, etc. The focus is to make the student able to carry out these goals in a timely manner which will allow them to take the skills they have learned and apply them anywhere I will do all that I can for my students and will adjust lesson structure at any time to fit them! This is about YOU and I am here to help!
