I have been playing the piano for over twenty years. I hold a double bachelors degree from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in classical piano pedagogy and performance with a minor in voice. I am also a member of the Music Teacher’s National Association, and am currently a nationally certified teacher of music in piano.

What to expect in my Keyboard and Piano Lessons

My piano students have ranged from beginner to advanced (college repertoire). My students can expect to have a fun and exciting journey of learning technical, theory, and reading skills to prepare them to be well-rounded musicians.
What to expect in my Vocal Lessons
-
My vocal students have ranged from beginner to intermediate. I have experience in teaching a variety of styles and ages. When it comes to the voice as an instrument, age is a big factor, and if not taken into consideration you can cause damage. Proper technique is very important and will be taught from day one. It is a joy of mine to instill good musicianship, inspiration, and motivation in my students so that they flourish.

Chase is an outstanding musician, performer, and piano teacher! My daughter has excelled and grown in her musical abilities because of Chase's dedication. He gets to know his students--their taste in music, their style of learning--and tries to provide lessons unique to the student. My 14-year old daughter loves her lessons with Chase and I have been thrilled with her progress! Chase's passion for music is contagious. Before we met him, my 14-yr-old son Zach was extremely shy. School was a struggle and homework left no time for other activities, therefore we agreed to try lessons during the summer. After the first lesson I felt as though I had won the lottery. Within a year I witnessed a transformation in Zach--not only in piano but also in his confidence and even more amazingly in academics--especially math--which became much less of a struggle than ever before.
