Savannah W.
Orchestral Lessons
Studio
18 Years
My name is Savannah! I have been playing violin for almost 18 years and teaching for 13. I love music and it is a huge part of my life! I do play other instruments: cello, piano, viola, guitar, and clarinet. I spent many years in orchestras one of my favorite and longest is the Louisville Orchestra in KY. I have played concerts all over the country but some of the best were in New York :) In high school, my sister and I would perform at weddings and parties together and that experience gave me some amazing memories. I'm really excited about teaching here in Georgia now, and I can't wait to share my love for music with others!
Savannah W. has over 18 years of music experience in the Woodstock area.

What to expect in my Orchestral Lessons
I began taking violin lessons when I was three. My violin teacher was a Japanese student of Dr. Suzuki and I really loved the way she taught, so now that I teach I try to incorporate her style and the Suzuki method into my teaching style. I do adapt to fit the student, so if the suzuki method isn't working for a student can go more traditionally about it. I do prefer, with young children, that the parents be present and take notes so they can help the kids practice at home. I also encourage kids to attend annual recitals to show off their hard work! I do welcome adult students as well becuase everyone can benefit from music!
