Review:

Bass Pro - Extraordinary Person

I met Randall when I was at the plump age of 12. We became great friends and eventually started playing, creating, and writing music together. I was on kit, barely able to pick up sticks, let alone mimic the beats of Travis Barker and John Bonham, while Randall had mastered the slapping tunes of Flea and Victor Wooten, and moved on to more experimental stuff that I couldn't fathom wrapping my mind around. He's also classically trained. He taught me everything I learned about music as a teenager, and he was a gracious mentor. He has the temperament and patience of a saint. Isn't afraid to spend an inordinate amount of time on the basics, and he has such broad genre knowledge, that he can help anyone with anything they want. He's the best bass player I've ever known, and a music mentor no one deserves, but everyone should have. Maurice Africh wrote on Mon, 17 Jul 2017

    In-depth help and very patient.

I took lessons from Randall last year and he was incredibly helpful. I was trying to learn some songs and he took to the time to walk me through not only the notes and patterns involved, but also the music theory associated with each song. The lessons moved at a pace I was very comfortable with and he was always open to reviewing parts that I felt needed more explanation. Alejandro Nunez wrote on Tue, 18 Jul 2017
