Hi, I'm Daniel. I have a love and passion for music! I've taken lessons myself, but I've taught myself a lot too. Piano was my first instrument. I learned how to read music in private lessons. And then when the school band started in elementary school, I started in percussion and found my way to drum set not long after, branching out into world hand drums as well. And then came guitar. I think the most important thing you can do to learn any instrument is to start by using your ears. By listening to different kinds of music and different bands/singers within, you can find out what you want to play and how you want to sound. And then, use your fingers and hands to find out what you can do. Use your imagination! Just remember that you're an individual. You can find your influences, but in the end, you're you!Â

Daniel G is proficient in and teaches Guitar Lessons, Keyboard and Piano Lessons .Formal Education:
I played in school bands from elementary school all the way to college. I have a B.S. in Music from Towson University in Maryland.
Private Education:
I've taken private lessons throughout my life. I've also listened to a lot of music and taught it to myself.
Performing Experience:
I've been playing with the Gumbo Bands on and off for 10 years and I'm the drummer for the Howlin' Dog Klezmer Band. I also go out to jams and open mics. I'm looking for more gigs at the moment.Â
Experience Teaching:
I'm looking forward to learning more about teaching! If we can agree to put in the same amount of effort towards our lessons, then we'll find success. Let's have some fun!

Daniel is the drummer for our band. He is very knowledgeable about music and brings enthusiasm to his role. He is a people person and respectful of others' feelings.
