I have performed in many historical venues. As a violinist of the DC Youth Orchestra I have performed in the Kennedy Center Terrace Theater, the Atlas Theater, and the Kennedy Center Concert Hall and Opera House where I performed with the National Symphony Orchestra both times. I have also performed in the many venues of various colleges and universities such as New York University, and the University of the District of Columbia. Finally, I performed Handel's "Messiah" in the National Cathedral as part of my time in the DC Youth Orchestra.During my time at Duke Ellington I performed most notably in the Strathmore Theater where I was alongside famous celebrities both Sting and Paul Simon. I also had the privilege to perform with other Grammy nominated artists such as Ledisi and the Three Mo' Tenors.During my time as part of the School Without Walls Stage Band I had the privilege being the solo violinist and of performing yet again in the Kennedy Center on the Millennium Stage and the Dorothy Betts Theater in the George Washington University. On top of that, I received full scholarship to travel to Nashville, TN where I participated in the World Strides Heritage Music Festival with Stage Band. Along with Stage Band receiving the Gold award for best ensemble, I, along with 8 other individuals received the Maestro Award for my musical excellence and showmanship, out of over 1000 candidates.
