I completed an associate's degree from Bismarck State College in 2010. During my time there I took guitar lessons and was in a classical guitar ensemble class. I moved to Minneapolis in 2012 and completed my BA in English literature. During this time I worked on honing my songwriting and lyrical skills as well as widening my network on the Minneapolis music scene. In 2016, I began work on a Master's degree in Elementary Education through the University of Minnesota. 

I began taking private lessons when I was 9 years old. My private lessons began with classical studies, and I moved on to blues, jazz, and classic rock at the age of 14. At the age of 16 I began taking guitar lessons that were centered around writing original music; at the age of 19 I began performing my original music around my hometown. 

I began performing my original music by myself at the age of 19, but it wasn't until I was 22 and living in Minneapolis that I had a band to call my own. We began performing our unique blend of rock, jazz, blues, and classical music in 2013 around the Twin Cities live music circuit. We continue to perform frequently, some months performing music every weekend. We play venues all around the Midwest, and are continually working to expand our influence around the region. We released our first self-titled EP in January of 2017 and hope to release a full length album sometime next year. 

I have been working as an elementary education teacher since September of 2015. I have worked with predominantly first and second grade, but work well with children and adults of all ages. I will continue to hone my teaching skills during the 2017-2018 school year.
