Elizabeth began playing the piano at the age of 6. Over the years, she developed her skills further by attending the University of North Texas to study piano and voice, both classical and jazz. She gained performance experience in the D/FW area by playing as a solo singer/pianist, and with various jazz groups. Though Elizabeth can teach many different genres of music, her musical personal favorites are jazz, classical and pop, which had great influence on her style of playing. Elizabeth loves music because it is an expression of herself, and is something that she can spend a lifetime learning and discovering. She loves teaching music because she can share her passion and knowledge with students, helping them to find their own unique expression of self.
